Stock Control Assistant
A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Stock Control Assistant for a busy company based in Normanton.
As a Stock Control Assistant you will play an important part in the Stock and Inventory team, with varied daily tasks and workload.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Investigating stock discrepancies
Raising Purchase Orders
Contacting suppliers both in the UK and Overseas
Liaise with Freight Forwarders to book incoming deliveries
Create monthly KPI reports
Communicate with internal departments, up to Director Level
General Administrative duties as required
You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have excellent IT skills in particularly Excel and also experience in Sage Line 50. You should also have a good attention to detail and be able to work in a methodical and accurate manner.
Hours of work for the Stock Control Assistant are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and salary is GBP18000 per annum.
This is a Temp to Perm (after 8 weeks) and we would invite applications from candidates with the backgrounds such as: Stock Control, Inventory, Purchasing, Logistics.
