Hatchling Recruitment has an opportunity for an experienced and Team orinetated individual to join a national manufacturing comapny in Stonehouse
As a Supervisor you will be working closely with the departmental manager to ensure that all customers order received are processed and scheduled by the team. Working closely with the team in a hands on role to ensure that workload is managed
Duites and Responsibilities to include
* Supervise and manage your team, including supporting with recruitment, advising with complex queries and escalated issues
* Recording hours worked, absence and holiday requests
* Holding regular 1-2-1 staff discussions
* Check orders to ensure that they are sufficiently detailed to enable processing
* Preparing of quotations
* Querying and confirming any changes with the customer as necessary
* Check that all the information required to facilitate planning & scheduling is to hand
* Schedule effectively a controlled flow of orders through to the Planning & Production teams
* Liaise with internal departments such as Production, Purchasing, Sales and Customer Service to ensure that the Customer expectations are met and delivered.
* Answer telephone and email enquiries into the Sales Order Processing/Planning teams
* Deliver cross training on products, and with planning & processing procedures to improve/evolve our training plan.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous team leadership experience is essential
* Strong knowledge of planning and processing functions is an advantage
* Able to understand technical requirements and process accurately
* Excellent organisational, time management and attention to detail skills
* Strong people and communication skills, able to motivate your team and connect effectively with your customers
* The successful candidate will relish being able to contribute creative ideas, have strong people and communication skills, be self-motivated, genuinely customer service focused, driven to deliver a 'best in class' service and thrive working under a time pressured environment
