We are looking for an ambitious and curious IT Support Analyst for a company based just outside Nottingham. You will have the opportunity to work in a modern environment with exposure to a variety of tech while providing support within the company on a range of internal systems.
The successful candidate will be acting in a key position providing internal technical support. You will be working with various applications and the internal systems to analyse, diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner.
This position would best suit someone who is interested in furthering a career in IT and is eager to learn as much as they can in an environment that will foster their growth. Roles & Responsibilities
* Work with the company ticketing system to provide support over the phone, email, and face to face
* Initially work on a 1st line basis but quickly get upskilled into a 2nd line role within the business
* Maintain the company's network equipment, security, servers and VOIP telephone systems
* Provide internal IT support to circa 50 users across the company
* Diagnose and resolve general networking issues and help configure firewalls
Skills & Experience
* An apprenticeship or some experience within IT Support
* Genuine interest in tech and computers with solid problem solving skills
* Experience in providing IT support to software and hardware within an office environment beneficial
* Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical difficulties to non-technical personnel
* Solid grasp of IT fundamentals either from an academic or professional background
* Hunger to learn from an IT Manager and improve your own skills in a major company
