Hours: 7.30am-4pm ideally (would consider 8am-4pm) Monday-Friday

Aspire Jobs is delighted to be working exclusively with our client who is now seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their small but very busy team.

This role would suit someone with a real "can do" attitude, who can deal with a busy environment, and who is proactive with great Admin skills and a cheery personality.

Job Description

The Office Administrator will be supporting the Director and team in all matters relating to administration, finance and customer service.

Your duties will include -

* Being the first point of contact, be welcoming in dealing with phone calls, emails and appointments with clients and suppliers.

* Providing general administrative support to the Director in dealing with quotations and communicating with clients and suppliers.

* Assisting with the procurement process for goods and materials needed for the business

* Being responsible for client and supplier invoicing, timesheet and wage control, using Quickbooks, liaising with our book-keeper regarding VAT and year-end accounts preparation.

* General duties to ensure the reception areas, showroom and other areas are kept clean and tidy to present a professional image.

Ideally the successful candidate will:-

* Have good admin skills

* Be competent with Word and Excel

* Have a great communication manner both over the phone, face to face and written

* Ideally have some accounts experience (mainly data input). If you have used Quickbooks then so much the better but it's not essential as training can be given

* Happy to adapt and muck in where needed

* Be able to juggle many tasks at once

* Be capable of managing the office and take on full responsibility for all the admin
