Operations Manager

A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Produce Supplier to the retail, catering and wholesale sectors. We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of growth, to be based at their facility in Essex / North London.
The position of Operations Manager will take responsibility for the production activities on a dedicated shift, effectively managing a team of c80 to ensure operation/production targets are met.
Responsibilities;
Meeting customer orders, achieving target KPI's
Ensuring the expected high quality of product is maintained
Adhering to Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety laws and regulations
Motivating the team, allocating workloads and gaining the most efficient output
Communicate with other Managers and all departments to meet business expectations
We require;
Strong management experience
Previous exposure to an Operational position, working with multiples lines
Experience in a Fresh Produce facility and / or Fresh Food Production environment
This role is working as part of the management team and requires a 'hands on' approach in a fast-paced, perishable environment.
Shift; Days, 4-on - 4-off / 12 hours; 07.00 - 19.00
Salary; GBP40-45k dependent on experience
A full driving licence is essential
