QHSE Manager
Bradford
GBP40,000 to GBP45,000
Role Profile
A thriving manufacturing company in the Bradford area is looking to recruit an experienced QHSE Manager to lead their small QHSE team and oversee Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental aspects across a number of sites.
This is an excellent time to join the business as you will play a leading role in shaping and developing an integrated QMS going forward.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Assume ownership for all processes related to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment and provide leadership for the QHSE team
Lead strategic review of the Quality Management System currently in place
Maintain and improve quality standards and compliance to applicable industry standards including but not limited to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Lead internal audit process and support with supplier audits where necessary
Manage and control customer specifications and ensure inspection / testing are completed to customer requirements
Analyse non-conformances, accidents and incidents using root cause analysis
Support and drive continuous improvement activities across the business and build strong relationships with relevant internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Significant Quality and Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment
Proven track record of leading internal audits
In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience in a customer or supplier facing role
Appropriate Health and Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH
IQA qualification or working towards
