Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Production Supervisor to help us create an awesome customer experience and keep things in good order. On a daily basis, you'll supervise employees during your shift and make sure that they complete their tasks and are motivated to work effectively. Production Supervisor skills include contributing to the production strategy by knowing the business goals and how to achieve them. You'll also act as a reference point for employees and customers, ready to fix problems that occasionally arise. Ultimately, you'll help maintain our business reputation by ensuring daily duties are completed and goals are met.

The day shift will run from 6:30am to 2:45pm Monday to Friday.


Providing supervisory leadership to the production, warehouse and SMT operatives. This will include motivating and mentoring staff in addition to conducting staff appraisals, creating PDPs and one-to-one meetings in conjunction with Senior Operators.
Working closely with the Production Managers and Planners to plan and co-ordinate the manufacture of Printed Circuit Boards Assembly's (PCBA's), electro-mechanical assemblies and finished boxed goods in a timely and efficient manner to achieve output targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as determined by the Production Managers
Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
Oversee and coach employees
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
Check production output according to specifications
Submit reports on performance and progress
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standardRequirements

Recent, proven experience as Production Supervisor in a similar role
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
Advanced skills in MS Office
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Strong people management skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Problem-solving skills (Lean tools and techniques)
Educated to ONC, BTEC level 3 or NVQ level 3 in a relevant discipline
