SMT GB are an industry-leading distributor of Volvo Construction Equipment; always on the look-out for the best people. We now have an opportunity for a Regional Aftermarket Sales Representative to join our heavy vehicles customer support function.

This field based role will be based from home and covering our Yorkshire territory. Reporting to the National Customer Support Manager this role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious Aftermarket Sales Representative to take the lead in growing the aftermarket business. With responsibility for selling the complete range of customer support products and service solutions you will also:

* Develop plans for aftermarket business growth

* Maintain and grow the Customer Support Aftermarket agreements

* To follow up on parts and service estimates created from Engineer report generators

* To identify opportunities to increase the participation rates of estimates

* To lead aftermarket promotions through effective communication

* To develop and maintain customer relationships whilst seeking new opportunities

* To monitor and report monthly on competitor and market activity

The position requires a Aftermarket Sales Representative with:

* Knowledge of the after sales market

* Must be motivated to work alone

* Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

* Self motivated and proactive

* The ability to overcome effectively negotiate by overcoming objections as well as dealing with rejections

* A strong customer service background and who is solution focused.
