Purpose of Role
To achieve key milestones working in conjunction with employers and workplace supervisors. Supporting candidates through the Training and Apprenticeship process in line with quality guidelines. You will support, train and guide learners and develop their skills and abilities with regards to life long learning and their chosen program. Also identify and address clients' training requirements and barriers to employment

Key Result Areas

• Achieving qualifications within given timescales, whilst maintaining quality in delivery.
• Ensuring that the team as a whole achieves its objectives.
• Responsible for ensuring that all paperwork is of high quality and submitted within set timescales.
• Identify the needs of clients through one-to-one interviews
• Prepare, deliver and review comprehensive delivery plans that address the identified training needs of the client group
• Uses varied delivery techniques to engage and stimulate both individuals and client groups and increase client retention. This may include off-site activities. Confidently instruct both individuals and groups.
• Has a sound knowledge and understanding of the contractual requirements e.g. client attendance and discipline; ensures MIT skills equal opportunities and health and safety procedures are adhered to
• Completion of all necessary administration e.g. reviews, timesheets, training plans
• Act in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers both internally and externally. (Colleagues, individuals and outside agencies)
• Ensure that office-based staff is kept fully informed of candidate progress at all times.
• Promote and share good practice throughout the delivery of qualifications.
• Produce up to date statistical and management information for review by line manager.
• To comply with all company processes and procedures
• Update systems as required.
• Contribute to maintaining delivery, practical and knowledge based skills and identify and record occupational training provided
• Support and maintain the quality assurance process for assessment, training and verification purposes, in line with MIT Skills polices and all related awarding body procedures and guidelines
• Committed to continuous improvement - personal and organisational.
• Increase the profile of the company by assisting in the marketing of Apprenticeship, Work Based Learning and other services
• Ensure equality and diversity procedures are fully adhered to.
• Contribute towards the development of an inclusive learning environment.
• Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management

Scope

• May occasionally be required to work out of normal hours
• Overnight stays may occasionally be required
• Candidates may be spread over a wide geographical area, so travelling is essential.

• Addressing basic literacy, numeracy and other social training needs within the process.

ESOL
• Addressing language barriers to employment, encompassing social needs

Apprenticeship, Vocational, Traineeship Training
• Addressing specific vocational training needs to enhance employment prospects in the area of lean manufacturing

Qualifications
• D32/33, A1, TAQA , CAVA(Essential)
• D34 / V units / V1 (Desired)
• Hold a qualification in the area of competence required for the role (Essential)
• Teaching qualification (Desired)

Experience/ Knowledge

• Occupationally competent in accordance with awarding body guidelines
• Demonstrate an ability to deliver and manage training courses.
• Experience of the assessment processes and paperwork.
• Experience of e-portfolio systems.
• Some supervisory / management experience
• Experience of mentoring, coaching, delivering training or supporting personal development
• IT literate
• Used to working to tight deadlines with caseloads of learners
• Numerate and literate
