Procurement Category Manager - Software, Security, Cloud
Location: Aldgate, London
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 Plus Company Benefits
Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00AM - 17:30PM

Your New Role
As Procurement Category Manager, you will undertake full lifecycle procurement projects related to Capital and Operational Spend and other specific procurement projects across the overall Business. Ensuring the delivery of the most economically advantageous arrangements.
Responsibilities will include but are not restricted to:
* Obtain pricing and place orders for all requirements requested via post-sales process and other internal stakeholders.
* Provide procurement expertise to effectively build and maintain strong business relationships
* Develop, implement and maintain procurement processes where required to support business requirements
* Work with suppliers and business owners to deliver savings and value improvement;
* Conduct spend analysis and produce spend reports;

You will ideally have sufficient experience in working in a challenging and pressured environment and able to demonstrate commercial awareness. Competencies required for this role include and are not restricted to:
Strong knowledge in one or more of the following vendors (demonstrating knowledge in other vendors, may be applicable):
* Fortinet, Palo Alto, Gemalto, Microsoft, Citrix, Dell, Igel, VMare, Zerto, Sophos
* Must have experience in the procurement and contract management of I.T. sub-categories
* Currently studying or qualified under the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS)
