IT Support Analyst - Booming Entertainment Business

This is a rare opportunity for a confident IT professional with several years' experience to join a vibrant, booming entertainment company as an IT Support Analyst. You will be part of a small IT department, which is divided into support and project teams. Managing and mentoring one junior/apprentice, you will be the support team! The business partners closely with several IT service providers, so your responsibilities will involve general 1st line IT support and escalating more complex requests and issues to the 3rd parties, acting as the internal IT business partner. There will be plenty of opportunity to further upskill in both standard business/ desktop technologies and specialist systems (SAP) along with plenty of opportunity to get involved in projects.

A strong customer service attitude is essential to this position. You will be "the face of IT" - working with end-users up to the most senior levels and managing effective 3rd party relationships. This position will suit a motivated IT professional who enjoys building relationships, working with others and shares the businesses passion for entertainment.

Required skills and experience

Experience of supporting general IT hardware and software in a business environment at first/second line level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A good general understanding of common Windows based IT systems including Office 365 and Active Directory.
Experience of general infrastructure and network support and troubleshooting; i.e. network routers.
Experience of supporting, maintaining and fixing PC's, laptops, Printers etc
Confidence in using service management/ service desk system such as Zendesk.
Confidence in owning tickets through to completion; including escalating to 3rd parties and "business partnering"
Experience of SAP ERP would be highly beneficial, but not essential, as is exposure to Warehouse Management Systems.

Package; GBP24,000 - GBP28,000 salary + benefits including 24 days holiday, life assurance, good pension, staff discounts
