Production Team Leader (Full time or Part time)
Kettle Produce Limited is one of the main providers of fresh and pre-packed vegetables in the country. Our Production Department plays a pivotal role in the successful operation of the business.

Previous food production experience is preferred.
Shift Pattern - Full time or Part time hours considered - working a rotational shift pattern of day shift and back shift.
Production Team Leader Main Areas of Accountability;
* Prioritise and execute plans in line with the operations and business unit objectives to ensure that all targets are met (e.g. orders, deadlines, quality, customer spec, legislation etc). Challenge, investigate and correct non-conformances e.g. quality, stock rotation, waste management etc.
* To manage the ongoing job performance of the members of the team who fall under the direct management control of the job holder.
* Lead, motivate and develop the team in line with company values and policies to maximise employee engagement and efficiency e.g. Induction, Training Coaching, Performance Management, Absence Management, Performance Appraisal etc.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to build solid working relationships based on mutual trust and respect and ensure alignment of business objectives.
* Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement within work area & liaise with stakeholders and team to implement best practice processes and procedures and develop improvement plans that support and promote our drive for continuous improvement to maximise effectiveness and efficiency and reduce operating costs.
* Effectively manage costs including fixed and variable costs to maximise functional and business benefit.
* Lead your team to ensure Health and Safety rules and procedures are followed and reviewed, including carrying out and reviewing all risk assessments associated with area.
* Ensure company Hygiene and Food Safety rules are fully adhered to and continually monitor the work area to ensure a 'tidy as you go approach' to housekeeping to create a safe working environment which complies with company hygiene procedures.
