Navitas is currently recruiting for the exciting opportunity of MI & Data Manager, to join their busy team in Oxford. (Please note that this will be remote working until post Covid. (Travel will be required for this role)
MI & Data Manager Duties

We are looking for a passionate and innovative MI & Data Manager to deliver an effective reporting, analytics, and information delivery framework to enable data driven decision making. You will be leading the implementation and delivery of reporting using tools such as MS Power BI, SQL, and other advanced reporting tools.
Work with the Leadership Team, colleges, and functions to design and build metrics, dashboards, and reports that support data driven decision making. This will also involve understanding teams' information requirements and assisting them in interpreting and effectively utilising their reporting.
Lead the design and implementation of MI capture and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate provision of monthly dashboards to stakeholders and enable data-centric discussion to improve performance.
Work with the global team on developing data aggregation capability to centralise business data and create a single source of truth
Ensure there are robust and repeatable processes in place for requesting and delivering MI/improved MI to the business
Continue to develop and enhance our reporting on an ongoing basis. Propose opportunities to improve our data management, data visualisation, refine key metrics, etc
Provide ad hoc and bespoke data analysis and insights to various areas of the business to support their strategic initiatives providing the right structure and direction
Use data insights to investigate trends and business performance to generate insights or analysis to support strategic decision making and problem resolution
Act as the data steward for the division with guardianship of definitions etc
Support the development of strategies, plans, forecasts, and advice/recommendations on the basis of evidence and data
Liaise with business and IT/data teams to develop the reliability, understanding and integrity of data used in any analysis
Build key stakeholder relationships - recognise their challenges and propose analytical solutions that will help them to deliver against our strategy
MI & Data Manager Requirements
You are passionate about analytics and combine robust data driven methods with data storytelling and creating meaningful insight.
You have keen interest in and understanding of developments in MI and data insights and can champion the use of new tools and technologies
You have extensive experience and knowledge in SQL database technologies, Advanced Excel, MS Power BI, and other associated reporting tools
You have experience in assimilating and translating complex data into effective management reports and business intelligence
You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, interpret, and disseminate large sets of information and identify trends
You want to proactively share your skills, knowledge, and energy to achieve shared ambitions.
You have great communication skills and can translate between 'technical' and business requirements
You have strong interpersonal, conceptual, and creative thinking skills and are able to develop and implement pragmatic solutions to complex problems
You have experience of influencing stakeholders at all levels to adopt new ways of working
