Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Quality Manager to join their growing team near Poole.
The role:
* To be responsible for all quality aspects in electronics manufacturing processes to ensure that outgoing product and service quality meet requirements.
* To manage and maintain the quality system.
* To promote quality awareness and commitment throughout the company.
* To facilitate a safe working environment for all.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Hosting of external quality audits from customers and accreditation bodies.
* Internal audits of operations and procedures for effectiveness at appropriate intervals.
* Control of external supplier approvals.
* Audit of product Manufacturing Instructions and documentation.
* Managing the liaison with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues / complaints.
* Support and overviewing of the Goods Inwards Inspection process.
* Responsible for ensuring the company meets Health & Safety requirements.
* Generation / maintenance of company Health & Safety manual / procedures.
* Risk assessments and safety audits, advising Directors of issues requiring attention.
Knowledge, skills and experience required to fulfil the opportunity:
* Knowledge of ISO 9001
* Experience working within an Electronics manufacturing environment
* Health & Safety experience
* Constructive relationships with staff, customers and vendors to promote quality.
* Leader of the quality improvement activity, always encouraging others to improve
