The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Branch Manager to join our Jewson team, based in Scarborough. This role will be 7:30-17:00 Monday-Friday and every other Saturday 8:00-12:00. To maximise profitability through building successful working relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and colleagues; whilst ensuring the branch operates in a safe manner and in line with all company policies and procedures.

What are we looking for?
GCSEs (Or equivalent) - Maths & English
Post-GCSE qualification
PBM qualification or suitable experience
Relevant market and product knowledge
Experience of people management including coaching and mentoring
Good financial and commercial awareness
IT literate
Resilient and confident to manage conflict
Driving licenceWhat will your responsibilities include?

Sales and profit targets and Local Sales Plans
Strong effective relationships with customers and suppliers
Understand local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans
Appropriate communication on Company plans, goals and individual objectives
Change is managed positively to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement
