E-COMMERCE MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to join our team based in the beautiful Derbyshire Countryside. This is a role that requires an individual with a passion for digital projects and the skill set to be able to pivot seamlessly across all E-commerce channels.

Experience of working across all digital channels to maximise user experience, platform efficiency and sales growth is essential.

This is an extremely exciting time to join the digital team at John Smedley as we drive our web business forward via exciting campaigns that showcase authentic brand stories, maximise sales opportunities and showcase the world's finest knitwear on an international scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Ownership of all Affiliate Partnerships including growth strategy & reporting.
  • Management of Google Business and Web page updates
  • Management of the photography studio planner, ensuring all products are photographed and available across E-Commerce channels
  • Management of sales discount code set up and reporting
  • Management of the seasonal product import including development of seasonal import process and challenging ways of working to improve process
  • Management of all stock movements across all E-Commerce channels
  • Management of agency support helpdesk
  • Management of size guides and category pages
  • Assisting the E-Commerce Director on all projects
  • Liaising with key partners Global E on all projects
  • Shared Ownership of customer surveys and reporting projects
  • Assisting with team task management including Trello, Microsoft Teams and Tensor systems
  • Continuously assessing working methods and processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Identifying and implementing KPIs and project milestones and analysis on whether they meet the demands of the project
  • Developing communication channels between relevant parties
  • Regularly updating key stakeholders on project status
  • Tracking project deliverables and matching those with agreed deadlines

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Background in digital project management working on campaigns from initial briefing to delivery
  • High level of understanding of Magento Commerce, Adobe builder and product setup
  • Experience of luxury fashion industry (preferable)
  • Report writing and data analysis capability
  • Ability to work under pressure, change direction when required
  • Technical competence and understanding of Adobe Flash, HTML5, HTML and CSS
  • Evidence of working with project management methodologies
  • Multi-tasker with ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Passion for IT, e-commerce and digital projects
  • Creative flair and innovative approach
