Valeco Recruitment are on the market to hire a permanent full time HR Manager to join our client who are an established and medium sized organisation throughout the UK and this opportunity is a rare find where you will be solely responsible for the HR function.

Reporting into the Managing Director and located in Midlothian this is a rare opportunity for a HR Manager to be based locally and providing a seamless people strategy for the business.

Being standalone you will be involved in a variety of duties and key responsibilities including:

* Budget control

* Reporting into the MD

* Advising Managers and Directors on how to manage staff along with any legislative changes and employment law considerations

* Develop and maintain all employee documentation

* Supporting throughout the recruitment process

* Develop HR policies and procedures to meet business objectives and that is just a few things.

For this opportunity we are looking for you to match the following requirements:

* CIPD Level 5 Qualification

* Ideally have experience of working in a unionised environment

* Proven track record of working in a fast-paced changing industry

* Pick up new skills quickly

* Technically minded including HR Software

* Passion for helping people
