Children and Young People’s Client Voice Coordinator
15 hours per week (37.5 FTE)
£26,000 per annum (pro rata)
Days are flexible and can be agreed on appointment
The Green House provides counselling and psychotherapy for adults, children and young people who have experienced sexual trauma including rape and sexual abuse at any time in their lives. Our counselling services are free and we provide up to six months of therapy for each client.
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and organised individual to join our Children and Young People’s team in the role of Children and Young People’s Client Voice Co-ordinator.
About the role
This role is part of a new project of work for The Green House which aims to bring survivors to the very heart of all we do. Our ‘Survivor Voice’ project aims to work closely with people who have used our services to inform service developments and new projects. We recognise that people with lived experience of abuse have particular insight and expertise that can help The Green House develop to best meet the needs of survivors.
This role will engage young people who have finished therapy in regular peer groups and activities, as well as coordinate all feedback mechanisms for the Children and Young People’s service. For example, feedback forms, surveys or other ways we may receive feedback. In time, this role will also support young people with their own projects and activities.
As this is a new role, there will also be some development work within the role, supported by the Clinical Lead and other members of The Green House.
About you
You will be a creative and organised person, passionate about working with Children and Young People and with a good understanding of the impact of sexual abuse. You will have some experience working in the mental health or youth services sectors with young people. You will be a good problem solver with the ability to take ideas and make them into a reality. You will also be an excellent communicator, with the ability to work with and alongside people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
About The Green House as an employer
The Green House are a flexible employer. We offer 25 days holiday (pro rata) plus 3 – 4 gifted days over the Christmas and New Year period. We also offer an autoenrollment pension scheme and training and development opportunities.
It is an exciting time to join The Green House; having successfully grown our services over the last few years we are now looking towards creating new services to meet the needs of survivors. The role of Client Voice Coordinator would be instrumental to making this happen.
