The Company
Able Bridge Recruitments client is a business that we have made multiple placements with over the past 18 months. They are a business that are very easily recognised and could be classed as a household name in their specific sector.
The organisation has seen a notable increase in work over the past few weeks and they feel that the team is under enough pressure to warrant an increase in permanent headcount. As such we have been instructed to start the process of looking for an assistant accountant/bookkeeper.
The Responsibilities
The role holder will be responsible for a portfolio of customers where they will provide accounting services. This will mainly focus on the completion of a clients VAT returns, production of statutory and management accounts as well as offering businesses support and advice on business/financial decisions. The role holder will work in a small team and will be expected to assist team members when workload requires.
The Requirements
Our client is an accounting practice and as such, we are seeking applications from candidates who have worked (recently) within the accountancy practice sector. It is not essential to be part or fully qualified, however it would be beneficial. Systems knowledge such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks is essential. We are seeking applicants who have at least 4 years' experience (ideally 4 - 6 Years).
