We are looking for Conservatory roof fabricators to join us on a full-time permanent basis on our Day time production team based at our manufacturing site in Sutton in Ashfield.
You will be required to manufacture conservatory roof systems from technical drawings, ensuring a quality product for the customer and output to meet the CRS KPIs. The role is an essential part of the CRS team and requires the manual operation of tools to produce parts and completed Conservatory Roofs.
Shift Pattern:
Day shift - 6am -3pm
Responsibilities:
Prep the start of the conservatory roof manufacturing process and operate the CNC saw to manufacture parts for the conservatory roofs.
Assemble the conservatory roof product and check the quality of the output against technical specification and instructions in the job pack.
Read technical drawings/job pack.
Stock monitoring and report stock shortages. Stock replenishment. Optimising the stock usage using the right product for the right job.
Safe use of tools and hand tools, safety of other team members, preventing others from getting near the saw. Understanding and implementing environment and H&S policies.
Comply with all company policies and proceduresKey Skills / Experience:
Aptitude for interpretation of technical drawings
Dexterity and able to use hand tools and manufacturing tooling.
Accurate number skills to interpret drawings and to monitor stock.
Effective communication skills working as a team player.
Ability to work safely in accordance with all H&S policies and SOPs.
Strong work ethic.
Good time keeping.
