My client who is a major player within heavy plant are looking to recruit a workshop engineer to work in the rebuild/repair division.
Duties include:
* Refurbishment of construction equipment
* Undertaking inspections of machines to assess what work is needed
* Carrying out diagnosis tests
* Keep a detailed stock list and stock needed
* Overhaul, repair and refurbishment of machines
* Check performance levels
You must have:
* Heavy plant maintenance skills
* Flexibility
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be motivated and a self starter
* Be able to build rapport with customers
* Practical knowledge of tooling and heavy plant equipment
* Electrical, hydraulic and mechanical fitting knowledge
* A licence to drive reach trucks is desirable
