We are looking for an Outreach/Detached Support Youth Worker to work with a Lead youth worker based in St Agnes Parish.
The hours are 18.5 per week at JNC 11 scale (£11,582.00 per annum)
Job Summary: - To provide quality outreach youth work that engages young people where they are and work with communities, partners and funders. To provide a range of positive activities, IAS, issue-based workshops and support for young people. You will ensure that delivery is based on what young people want and need and is developed with them. Young people
will be supported to work with their community to provide sustainable activity which increases community cohesion and reduces isolation. Young people will be given the skills to increase aspirations, address needs and reach their potential. The post will require rigorous and robust reporting against a number of targets and outcomes. The post requires a valid UK driving licence.
