ECommerce Manager

We have an exciting role for an ECommerce Manager for a very well-established local business who have gone from strength to strength in this last 12 months.

With the plans of a new flagship website, this is an amazing time to join as an Ecommerce Manager

Working with the Marketing Team you will help to drive the Marketing strategy to meet business objectives and goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the website

* Work closely across Sales & Marketing to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and business objectives

* Project manage all website continuous improvement

* Respond to and troubleshoot website issues

* Ensure fully utilisation of the CMS system and Google Analytics

* Oversee delivery of site optimisation tools

* Monitor SEO and deliver action plans to improve optimisation

* Maximise organic traffic and improve the relevant ranking for key deliverables

* Provide recommendations for paid advertising campaign

* Produce regular reports to understand how the site is performing and where there is scope to optimise user journeys

* Manage heat and scroll map analysis and deliver improvement plans to enhance customer journey and experience

* Offer insight on customer responsiveness and engagement on all aspects of the website and where changes need to be made.

* Drive digital initiatives and provide digital support and advice to the wider marketing team

* Support PPC activity to drive web traffic and produce insight

* Support the Marketing and Communications Manager and Campaign Manager with the delivery of the annual IMI Digital Marketing Strategy

Knowledge & Experience:

* 3 years' experience working in a similar role

* Knowledge of Magento

* Experience of publishing and editing app, website, and email newsletter content

* Experience of using multiple content management systems

* Knowledge of web measurement tools such as Google Analytics

* Basic HTML knowledge

* A good eye for app and web layout and user experience

* Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC).

* Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.

* Excellent content creation and writing skills.

* Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

* Knowledge of digital marketing best practice and awareness of the use of social media
