Striving to improve the lives and opportunities of our communities through partnership and collaboration

Third Sector Support Wales (TSSW) is the partnership between Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and the 19 County Voluntary Councils (CVC’s) working across Wales to support a thriving Third Sector. TSSW deliver 4 core pillars of activity one of which is Volunteering.

GAVO has the following opportunities for enthusiastic and flexible team players to join them and make a real difference to support the community.

Due to the current CV-19 situation, the posts have been adapted to continue to provide this service virtually, however we would hope to return to office/community based working as soon as it is safe to do so.

YOUTH VOLUNTEERING OFFICER x 2: 15 hours per week (2 days to be agreed) supporting 14 – 25 year olds in the Monmouthshire or Blaenau Gwent area.

Applications are welcome from one person wishing to work 30 hours over 4 days to cover both areas.

The roles require excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and support both the volunteers and the volunteer involving organisations, to experience a positive and meaningful placement.

Experience of recruiting and working with volunteers and an understanding of the Third Sector are essential, along with an awareness of safeguarding procedures.

For an application pack select the apply button shown. No CVs accepted. This post requires an Enhanced DBS check. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Please state on your form which post(s) you are interested in.

Closing Date: Monday 14th June at 10am

Yn ymdrechu i wella bywydau a chyfleoedd ein cymunedau drwy bartneriaeth a chydweithio

Cefnogi Trydydd Sector Cymru yw’r bartneriaeth rhwng Cyngor Gweithredu Gwirfoddol Cymru a’r 19 o Gynghorau Gwirfoddol Sirol sy’n gweithio ledled Cymru i gefnogi Trydydd Sector ffyniannus. Mae Cefnogi Trydydd Sector Cymru yn darparu 4 colofn weithgarwch, ac un o’r rheini yw Gwirfoddoli.

Mae GAVO yn cynnig y cyfleoedd canlynol i aelodau tîm brwdfrydig a hyblyg ymuno â nhw a gwneud gwahaniaeth go iawn i gefnogi’r gymuned.

Oherwydd y sefyllfa bresennol gyda CV-19, mae’r swyddi wedi cael eu haddasu i barhau i ddarparu’r gwasanaeth hwn yn rhithiol, ond byddem yn gobeithio dychwelyd i weithio yn y swyddfa/gymuned cyn gynted ag y bydd yn ddiogel gwneud hynny.

SWYDDOG GWIRFODDOLI IEUENCTID x 2: 15 awr yr wythnos (2 ddiwrnod i’w pennu) yn cefnogi pobl ifanc 14-25 oed yn ardal Sir Fynwy neu Flaenau Gwent. Mae croeso i geisiadau gan un person sy'n dymuno gweithio 30 awr dros 4 diwrnod i gwmpasu'r ddau faes.

Mae’r swydd yn gofyn am sgiliau cyfathrebu rhagorol a’r gallu i feithrin perthnasoedd a chefnogi’r gwirfoddolwyr a’r mudiadau sy’n cynnwys gwirfoddolwyr, i gael profiad cadarnhaol ac ystyrlon.

Mae profiad o recriwtio a gweithio gyda gwirfoddolwyr, ynghyd â dealltwriaeth o'r Trydydd Sector yn hanfodol, yn ogystal ag ymwybyddiaeth o weithdrefnau diogelu.

Ar gyfer pecyn cais dewiswch y botwm cymhwyso a ddangosir. Ni dderbynnir CVs. Bydd gofyn cael archwiliad manwl gan y Gwasanaeth Datgelu a Gwahardd ar gyfer y swydd hon. Dim ond yr ymgeiswyr sydd wedi cyrraedd y rhestr fer y byddwn yn cysylltu â nhw. Nodwch ar eich ffurflen pa bost (iau) y mae gennych ddiddordeb ynddynt.

Dyddiad Cau: Dydd Llun 14 Mehefin am 10am
