We are currently seeking an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

The Role
 
As an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior, you will provide a high-quality service to corporate clients and contribute to the overall development of our practice.
 
Working as part of the Audit and Accounts Team, you will use information provided by clients to prepare statutory financial statements. You will also respond to client queries regarding aspects of their bookkeeping.
 
Additionally, you will:
 
- Act as a senior on audit assignments
- Proactively liaise with clients to obtain relevant information for their accounts
- Prepare client accounts
- Prepare business tax computations, partnership and personal tax returns
- Prepare corporation tax computations and CT600 forms
 
About You
 
To join us as an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior, you will need:
 
- An AAT qualification (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 18 months’ proven audit and accounts experience within a practice environment
- The ability to perform and supervise audits, prepare statutory financial statements and related business tax returns
- Strong computer literacy skills
- In depth audit and accounts preparation knowledge
- Knowledge of accounting systems and their uses and benefits
- A full driving licence
- To be prepared to travel to client sites and other locations as required
- The flexibility to work outside of normal office hours as required
- The successful candidate will need to live within a commutable distance of Banbury or be willing to relocate
 
Experience of using cloud accounting software such as Xero would be beneficial, as would experience of using Mercia or CCH software.
 
Part ACA or ACCA qualifications would also be advantageous.
 
Individuals who are part way through working towards an ACA or ACCA qualification will find this advantageous to their application.
