Salary - GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + Excellent Benefits
Orion are exclusively engaged with a global consumer electronics brand who are expanding their in-house NPD Team.
As Lead engineer you will benefit from working in a world class research and development facility based in Cambridge but will be an instrumental part of the projects from concept, prototype, detail design, tooling, verification, validation all the way through transfer to manufacture.
You will have the opportunity to provide crucial input in the concept creation process and will work alongside 'early concept' design and development engineers to help generate prototypes evaluation and user testing.
You will be technical lead in detail design prototyping, optimising production process, component specification and will work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure strong DFM/ DFA processes are in place.
Ideally you will be educated to at least HND / HNC level and will have experience with electronics packaging, perhaps you have worked with consumer products before or something similar like electro-mechanical defence / aerospace or medical device type products.
There is plenty more to discuss but if you feel the opportunity outlined could be of interest, click "apply now" or contact 's Reading Office
