Sales Person Timber Builders Merchant
Internal Sales Person required by large independent timber & panel products merchant based in Keynsham near Bristol/Bath. Competitive salary offered depending on skills and experience.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Internal Sales Person to join our sales office and shop front. You will be responsible for supervising our busy sales office / environment as well as take on an internal sales role within the company.
The role will include responding to initial enquiries from both trade and retail customers via telephone and over the counter as well as providing quotes and taking orders. Duties will also include serving customers, ordering stock, goods in and general counter duties including maintaining a safe working environment.
The successful candidate will have previous sales experience in the Merchant and Timber industry, demonstrating first class knowledge of timber and panel products as well as the ability to work well within a team environment.
Forklift experience preferred but not essential, training can be given.
Skills:
-Friendly outgoing personality
-High level of accuracy with attention in detail
-Numerate and literate
-Computer literate
-Ability to work well in a team environment.
-Previous sales experience in the Merchant and Timber industry
Motivated and with an ambitious approach to your role, you will have the ability to balance the provision of excellent customer service with the need to generate sales for the company. Strong communication and people skills are essential.
