Trade Compliance Officer
My client is seeking a Trade Compliance Officer to join them based in West Yorkshire.
The key responsibilities for the Trade Compliance Officer, based in West Yorkshire, will be ensuring effective import and export compliance in accordance with domestic and foreign import and export laws and regulations, along with ensuring and supporting appropriate management accountability and responsibility for import and export compliance. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting license applications, international permits, technical assistance agreements and other request for licenses and approvals to the appropriate Government Agencies; administer export licensing program and ensure compliance with conditions and reporting requirements.
The ideal Trade Compliance Officer, based in West Yorkshire will have previous experience of working in a similar role within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment. You will also have strong knowledge and experience of Customs regulations for import and export compliance, policies, documentation and processes.
