I have the pleasure in representing my client, who is a global engineering, repair and logistics Company providing best cost solutions to many of the worlds' premier brands. They are looking for a continuous improvement engineer based in Fife. They are seeking a proactive, high performing Continual Improvement Engineer to join our team.

As a Continual Improvement Engineer you will be responsible for managing the implementation of Lean methods across the site and embedding a continuous improvement culture within all areas of the business. You will add value by reducing waste in all forms and improving efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction. Key Job

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and co-ordinate the continuous improvement program across the operation to meet business goals and objectives.
Develop materials and subsequently train employees of the organisation in Lean tools and techniques to promote a culture of CI across the organisation.
Challenge existing practices and identify best practice.
Work with the Engineering team to identify and implement improvement opportunities throughout the business.
Provide core and specialist training in all CI tools and techniques to improve processes, practices, and embed the use of CI tools and techniques across the site.
Support both the maintenance of product quality standards and adherence to Health & Safety Regulations.
Lead and execute complex continuous improvement projects.
Responsible for reporting periodic progress to site management team.
Acting as a role model, lead practice of 'reduce, re-use and recycle' practices wherever possible, ensuring that unavoidable waste is disposed of responsibly.
Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

Ideally an HND/HNC or Degree qualified in an Engineering field.
Certified Lean and Six Sigma practitioner, trainer or mentor.
Excellent technical skills.
Proven experience in developing and deploying new processes to deliver improved results.
Knowledge or process related standards.
Self-starter who can demonstrate achieved success working in a similar fast paced environment.
Energy and enthusiasm and a demonstrable commitment to quality and on-time delivery.
Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations preferred.
Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015
