Job Title - Estimator (Social Housing)
Location - Flexible - Lincs/Cambs/Norfolk/Suffolk/Remote
Salary - GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 pa
Our client, a large reputable social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East from Lincolnshire down to Essex is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in one of their offices (no preference).
As an Estimator you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of tenders for projects working closely with our bid manager and team. The suitable applicant can base themselves in any of their locations in Lincs, Cambs, Norfolk or Suffolk so georgraphical location of the applicant is not a major factor for this appointment as they are prepared to be flexible. The ideal candidate will be covering the whole of the groups working area in the East and South East.
You should have previous experience in an estimating role within the construction or social housing sector and have good technical knowledge of construction and commercial experience.
Key skills/knowledge requirements:
Good experience of refurbishment estimating in social housing/local authority sectors.
Experience of using estimating software.
Well-developed technical building / construction knowledge.
Knowledge of Building Regulations and other industry standard.
