Are you looking for a role that makes a difference to others but equally helps boost your career?
The salary is GBP15,158 per annum for 30 hours per week.
This Apprenticeship scheme is a fantastic opportunity to gain both experience and training. Your day to day work will see you gain the skills needed for a professional role that will make a difference for our residents in Surrey.
Your apprenticeship will see you complete an 18-month fixed term contract that will be a healthy combination of both on the job experience building and completing your qualification. You'll be supported and mentored throughout through your line manager and assessor who will each give you dedicated time to complete your work and qualification. All of that will certainly keep you busy and we therefore commit to 26 days of paid annual leave per annum as well as a range of other benefits you'll have access to - who doesn't love discounts on food?!
This particular opportunity will see you join the Team within Health and Wellbeing Commissioning at Surrey County Council. Day to day responsibilities of working within this team will include:
- Work with other team members to assist in a range of projects and tasks with supervision
- Assist in collating and manipulating basic data for statistical and other reports
- Carry out simple research tasks and present information in writing and verbally
You will have a buddy network of like-minded apprentices to socialise with, support one another and experience this apprenticeship together. It's your values that we're truly interested in as we're here to support you with on the job training so we'd really like to see your values shine through on your application.
To be considered for shortlisting, you will need to clearly evidence the following:
- Basic IT skills: ability to use information, communication and office equipment.
- Examples of where you have communicated effectively with others.
- Ability to follow instructions and guides and maintaining good levels of accuracy in your work.
We are committed to being an inclusive and diverse employer which reflects the community we serve. We particularly welcome applications from all under-represented groups.
This scheme is aimed at those who have an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) in place.
