We are looking for a cabinet maker / bench joiner for a high-end furniture & joinery firm. The company work alongside architects, contractors, and interior designers to create high end residential & commercial joinery. They excel in furniture reproduction and the production of handmade products that instantly matches the character and architecture of period homes and listed buildings.
Salary is circa GBP14ph. Obviously, this is subject to the experience of the applicant.
This position offers flexible hours between 07:00-17:30, all they ask is you do 40 hours per week. There is also a lot of overtime available.
Cabinet maker / Bench Joiner duties:
Making solid & veneered furniture
Very occasionally site fitting (site work is sub out to others normally)
Organising varied work
Keeping bench clean
Small business with good atmosphere and working conditions
Ideally you will have:
Motivation and passion for making items to the best standards
Experience in doors and windows
To have a good knowledge of hand tools
Able to work in a small team
Anyone who has experience making high end furniture, joinery and fitted furniture be of extreme interest.
