Job Title: Category Manager - Food Sector
Salary: Competitive salary plus bonus and excellent benefits
Location: Grimsby
This is an exciting new opportunity in Grimsby for a Category Manager who has experience from within the Food and Drinks sector. You ideally will have gained your experience from the supplier, manufacturing or retail sectors around the Food and Drinks industry.
You will have proven experience in how to measure and analyse changes across consumer behaviour, market trends and the industry. Work closely with the marketing and sales divisions to help the company take advantage of all business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement effective Category strategies that are tailored to market needs
*Support the sales team with the building of their territory plans and identifying new opportunities
*Provide relevant market insights to the Sales Director
Key Skills Required:
*Experienced in an FMCG Category management environment with evidence of translating data into insight
*Proven experience of delivering additional sales or opening new customers by using a targeted category approach
*Strong competency in Excel
*Capable of building compelling presentations for use both internally and with our customers
