The Operations Processor is a hands-on role, working within the warehouse section of the Service Centre. Working directly with secure, customs cleared shipments, you will be responsible to ensure that all legislative health, safety, and security standards are met, highlighting any concerns to supervisors for further investigation/clearance. The post holder is required to ensure that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently with high levels of precision that meets all areas of process quality and compliance within the agreed and sometimes challenging time frames.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Scanning - processing all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with DHL compliance procedures.
Ensure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently.
Manual lifting of shipments is required.
Adhere to customs / import / export procedures.
Adhere to country laws/regulations and company procedures & standards in regard to Safety and SecuritySkillsets and Attributes
Good teamwork
Excellent written and verbal communication
Able to perform physical requirements of the role.
Successful candidates will need to provide a full 5-year history
(the 5 years does NOT need to have all been in the UK and you may NOT have been employed during the 5 years and this is ok, we can obtain references from employment, education, and unemployed periods etc)
You will also be CRB checked
