RECRUITMENTiQ are working in partnership with a local coffee shop that is currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Cook.
We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join our team at our brand-new establishment in Saundersfoot Harbour. You will assist in the daily operations of the kitchen in the caf??, following instructions relating to the timely preparation of multiple food orders without compromising on quality, organising workstations and assisting other cooks as needed.
This role is the perfect fit for those who want to develop their skills in the back of house and be a key player in establishing a local hot spot.
Responsibilities -
* Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes.
* Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
* Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.
* Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards. !
* Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
* Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
* Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
* Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.
* Efficiently resolving problems with customers' orders.
* Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed.
Requirements -
* The ability to follow recipes.
* The ability to work in a team.
* Effective communication skills.
