Senior Web Developer
My client is one of the largest insurance brokerage and risk management organisations in the world. They are expanding the digital team and are looking for an experienced Web Developer. This is a full-stack role working with PHP and React/Angular. Building API's in PHP. Working with Internal/External clients.

What is the role?
To effectively lead the in the development of commercially viable digital solutions, enabling the strong sustainable growth. Develop and maintain business relationships with clients to promote technical innovation and excellence. Assist in the development and growth of the Digital Team.
Key responsibilities
* To effectively lead in the delivery of project-based work including timescale and budget accountability
* To be able to take the lead role in technical meetings, internally and externally
* To effectively contribute in the delivery of technical responses in order to win new business (written and face to face)
* To effectively lead in the design and development of innovative, market leading products and solutions
* To be able to contribute in all aspects of digital service delivery and support other roles and teams where there is a project need or skills gap
* As required, perform the role of any lower role in the team in order to ensure project success
* Maintain and grow client relationships to promote technical innovation and excellence
* Respond to client issues and requirements and escalate to the project manager to ensure these are addressed as required
* Identify opportunities to introduce new products and services based on an understanding of client needs
* To contribute in the development of team members, identifying training and development needs and research solutions
* To effectively lead the digital team and consultants, as a source of technical expertise, in making the right decisions in developing client solutions and products
* To be able to provide reasoned estimates of time and resource needed for digital projects to assist the consultants in producing accurate quotes.
* To be able to work to a budget.
