By connecting design and technology, we change how people experience their built environment. We work across disciplines to create the intelligent systems, sustainable buildings, and efficient infrastructure that shapes the way people live, move, learn and heal.

With over 3,000 employees and 60+ offices around the world, we understand what it takes to work locally and scale globally.

At IBI, we're defining the cities of tomorrow.

Position Summary:

We are a recognised leader in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) field, having acted as consultant, designer and systems and software developers on projects with local and national highway and transport organisations, in the UK and overseas. Our professionals bring expertise across the broad spectrum from policy development and concept design, through software and systems development to operations and maintenance. The firm has significant experience in the fields of strategy and policy, traffic management and network operation, traveller information systems, data analysis, ticketing and smart cards, tolling and security.

Our team includes software and web developers, user interface designers, database developers and administrators and test and release engineers supported by project managers and ITS professionals. We offer training, support and career development for all our staff within their relevant fields of expertise. Equally we appreciate the value to our staff and the firm in developing cross disciplines skills and gaining experience across all areas of our business.

We're looking for a new Systems / Business Analyst to join our team. We work with some of the UK and Ireland's major infrastructure bodies to deliver digital services and keep their operations running. Due to expanding business we've got space for a bright, talented individual that can grow into this new role and help deliver these services to our clients, on time and on budget to meet their expectations.

You'll need to be passionate about Business Analysis and digital project delivery to our clients. They trust us to deliver and you should be able to build that trust through communication, integrity and successful delivery with the agility required to meet their deadlines. You will have a keen interest in digital, knowledge of current trends and technologies in the web space and the ability to absorb new information quickly to be able to deploy this when required.

You should possess a natural enthusiasm for learning and the ability to adapt and remain calm when the plates are spinning. You should also possess a keen eye for detail, spotting anomalies and ensuring quality outputs leave your and other's desks.

You should understand the principles of project management, perhaps having taken steps in studying the profession and be aware of the different approaches in a digital space using various methodologies.

You'll have people skills that enable you to build relationships with clients so that you understand them, what they want, need, and expect from us. You will ensure their projects are delivered on time and to high standards, keeping an eye on budgets.

The role may involve some travel from time to time to meet with clients in servicing current contractual obligations or developing new projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Work with software developers, project managers and client teams to design, produce, enhance and maintain applications and products

* Supporting the definition, management and delivery of projects including task breakdowns and scheduling, resource planning, budgeting, cost control, and risk management

* Engage with and understand client and stakeholder needs, articulate these in the form of requirements and proposals that in consultation with our technical teams, deliver digital services and improvements to current and new systems

* Supporting solution/product owners in managing client expectations

* Analysing business problems and defining the work needed to address those problems

* Manage user experience design and support design workshops eliciting requirements and production of associated documentation

* Contributing to and leading the preparation of project deliverables

* Reporting on project progress internally and to clients and other stakeholders
