Senior Site Manager
We are seeking to recruit a Senior Manager (formerly known as General Foreman) with extensive Earthworks experience to supervise site operations and manage a team of Foremen and Workforce / sub-contractors to ensure they are working in line with agreed RAMS, Point of Work RAs, etc.
We need someone who will prioritise safety on the project, coordinating inductions, and ensuring effective toolbox talks, daily task briefings, and point of work assessments are delivered to Site Operatives. Supervising Site Operatives and site activities is ultimately your responsibility and you need to ensure tasks carried out are within their levels of skill and expertise by you and the rest of the team.
Duties
* Daily records of site activities will need to be completed and you will need to liaise with the Line Managers to produce information for progress reports for individuals.
* Monitoring attendance of the Site Operatives will be required.
* You will also be expected to implement the requirements of work safety plans, method statements, risk assessments, and other works procedures.
* You will need to ensure all Site Staff are wearing the correct PPE at all times.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* It is essential that you have considerable experience working on site
* Experience delivering Earthworks packages on large infrastructure projects
* You must have experience managing a team of site-based staff
