My client is looking for a Travel Consultant / Call Centre Advisor to join their ever growing team. They are the UK's leading provider of short holiday lettings.
Due to expansion and growth they are looking to hire a Travel Expert/ Call Centre Advisor. The newest Travel Expert/ Call Centre Advisor will sit at the heart of our close-knit Reservations team, responsible for delivering the highest levels of quality and customer service during each and every inbound and outbound call. You will be responsible for finding customers their perfect holiday with every contact, sharing your great experiences and giving excellent service to our customers and using your skills to recommend products to enhance their holiday.
Skills Needed for the Travel Consultant/ Call Centre Advisor:
* Previous commercial Customer Service experience
* Proven track record meeting sales targets within a commercial environment
* Previous experience working within a call centre and an excellent phone manner
* Ability to perform well under pressure
* Excellent attention to detail
* Driven attitude and excellent work ethic!
Key Responsibilities for the Travel Consultant/ Call Centre Advisor:
They are looking for candidates who have previous experience within a sales environment handling inbound and outbound calls - and a strong track record of working successfully to sales targets.
You could have worked as a reservations specialist or booking agent.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to quickly build a rapport with a new customer, as well as good negotiation skills.
You will also be IT literate, and be prepared to recognise and suggest improvement areas for the business.
This is the perfect position for an experience sales professional with a strong track record of working to (and exceeding) agreed targets for booking conversion and maximising sales opportunities
Commission: A performance-related bonus of GBP600 per month is available with this vacancy and OTE of GBP23,000 per annum
Hours of work: will be 37.5 per week to be worked on a shift rota basis covering evenings and two weekends a month. Department opening hours are 9am - 7pm however during peak times these will be extended to 9pm.
Working hours: 37.5 to be worked on a shift rota basis - 5 days out of 7 running. I have broken Peak and Non-Peak down below for you
They are ideally looking for full time however can consider part time too
- Non-Peak - 9am-8pm (9am-5.30pm or 11.30pm-8pm)
- Peak - 9am-9pm (9am-5.30pm or 12.30pm-9pm)
Salary: GBP18,830 per annum. This breaks down to GBP18,330 + GBP500 unsocial hours bonus for past 7pm and Sunday work included
For part time positions though please be aware this may change; ie if a candidate cant work Sundays this will mean GBP250 taken off.
