Deputy Manager
We have a unique opportunity for a retail manager to come and work for a new store opening for an independent golf retailer on a Golf Course in a great location! We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager who can work together with a Store Manager to drive customer sales, offer a great service to customers and really engage with a strong customer base
Our client will be selling a variety of well-known sports retail brands in their new store, you will be able to work with a fantastic range of apparel and footwear. In addition, you will be able to sell both used and new golf clubs to your members, training in club fitting and analyse is provided.
We would like to recruit a passionate sports person who has an interest in golf, you don't need to play like a PGA Tour Pro, but, having a genuine interest in the sport will help you deliver a fantastic service. In return, you can use your retail sales skills to be able to achieve targets, earn commission and earn over GBP35k in your annual package- realistic! As a Deputy Manager you will be able to work with colleagues to develop their sales skills, deliver a great service and ensure repeat business from customers.
What we want in our new Deputy Manager:
Passion for Golf and sport in general
High level of interpersonal skills
Strong training and development background with colleagues
Lead teams to provide an outstanding service to customers
Able to work in an environment where you can provide advice and guidance to members
Strong VM skills
Demonstrate an ability to sell products to customers
Work with a wide-ranging management team at the store and club
Due to our client's location, own transport and flexibility to work all store opening hours are required
Ability to give customers specialist adviceOur client is willing to pay a competitive salary for the new Deputy Manager, there will be various incentives as well, but the opportunity and growth enables you to join a retailer who are doing the right things. Our client can offer a great basic salary circa GBP21,500k with a fantastic bonus scheme where you can earn in excess of GBP24k!
