Senior Sap Business By Design Developer - Dorset / Remote Working
Salary: Up to GBP65k + Bonus + Pension + Discount Shopping Scheme + Free Car Parking + flexible working hours

The Role
An experienced and enthusiastic Software Developer with mature skills is required to join our clients development team. The position involves design, development, support, and maintenance of bespoke solutions in SAP Business ByDesign, for customers in many different lines of business. Working closely in a team with internal ByDesign consultants to design customisations that both fit customer requirements and operate within the abilities, ethos and constraints of SAP Business ByDesign. The role encompasses the whole process from the initial pre-sales enquiries, perhaps with some proof-of-concept work or ideas discussions through to analysis, write-up, development, delivery and ongoing support.
We will consider visa sponsorship for this role for candidates wanting to relocate to the UK, and we will also consider applications from candidates globally who wish to work entirely remotely.
You will have a strong commercial experience and understanding of SAP Business ByDesign processes, functionality, Business Objects and the tools and technologies used to develop customisations for it. You will have a good track record of designing and developing customisations for ByDesign and maintaining them.
Essential skills:
Develop customisations in ByDesign with Cloud Application Studio and UI Designer
Creation and customisation of Reports
Entire life-cycle from pre-sales through to delivery and post-implementation support
Requirements analysis, documentation and solution proposals
Proof-of-concept development and demonstrations
Liaising and collaborating with in-house consultants and customers
Reporting of project progress and issues to the project management
Mentoring and assisting other developers
Advantageous skills:
All aspects of Cloud Application Studio, UI Designer and LiveCycle
ABSL scripts to implement business logic for validation, events and actions
Dump Analysis, Debugging and Tracing
Web Services and Odata Services
Fine-tuning, Business Roles and UI Switches
Development of new screens, UI components and enhancements to existing.
Ability to troubleshoot issues, including liaising with SAP
Understanding of core logistical and/or financial processes in business
Excellent written and verbal communication, both with customers and colleagues
Qualifications and Certifications
Minimum GCSE or equivalent Maths and English - grade C or above
