1. Directly Responsible to: Production Manager/Managing Director
2.Overall Role or Purpose of the job:
* Management of the Team Leaders to ensure that the factory workforce are competent in their roles and performing to the standards expected of them.
* Develop and drive a 'right first time' and 'on time and in full' culture throughout the company.
* Review and adaption of the '5 point quality checklist' ensuring all Glazing Vision rooflights meet our quality standards.
* Planning, developing and ensuring systems/procedures for the management of the workload through production are maintained and followed.
* Defining the resource requirements in production to meet short, medium- and long-term strategy of the company in line with the Production Manager.
* Responsible for quality, environmental and health and safety standards on the shop floor, to create a culture of awareness and continual improvement.
* Responsible for machine optimisation and performance, ensuring all equipment is maintained and 'lost down time' is avoided.
Salary:
Up to GBP35,000 per annum
Job Status:

Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Hours of Work: 07:30am to 3:30pm / 37.5 hours per week
3-month probationary period
