Infrastructure Engineer - VMware, Veeam - Dartford, Kent - Up to GBP45,000 - ASAP Start
My client who are a leader in their industry have a great opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team. You will be carrying out support and maintenance on their entire server estate as well as playing a vital part in the design and installation of the server infrastructure.
Daily Duties
Contribute your technical knowledge and expertise to a variety of infrastructure projects
Assist in disaster recovery and businesses continuity planning and testing
Develop Infrastructure design documents, project plans, technical specifications, and roll out's
Provide Third Line support as and when needed
Contribute to IT policies and process development using industry best practices
Provide out of hours support (for projects and implementations) and Standby/On-Call supportSkills Required
Proven background and experience within an Infrastructure Engineer role
Excellent verbal and written communicator
Strong technical skills with the following;
Windows Server (up to 2019)
VMware, vSphere, ESXi
Veeam backup and replication
Active Directory - DHCP, DNS and GPO
IP Networking with Cisco VSwitches and VLANS
MS Azure and Office 365
