Job: HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician (4 On / 4 Off Day Shift)
Location: Grays, Essex
Pay: GBP18.00 - GBP19.00 PHR
Our client is actively seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician to join them at their popular workshop in the Grays, Essex area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work less than half the year with the very popular and sought after, 4 On / 4 Off shift pattern (12 Hour Shifts).
You will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role and hold a recognised Level 3 qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Full Apprenticeship). A HGV Licence is desirable for this position but not essential.
Your working hours will be 0600hrs - 1800hrs, 12 Hour Shifts on a 4 On / 4 Off shift pattern.
General duties for this HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician role include:
* Heavy Vehicle Inspections
* Running Defects
* Servicing, Maintenance & Repair
* Pre MOT Preparation
* Engine & Gearbox Repairs & Overhauls
* Complete all the relevant paperwork to a high standard
This position pays an hourly rate of GBP18-00 - GBP19.00 per hour with overtime as and when available.
