Electronics Engineer
Wellingborough
Salary: GBP25k-GBP40k (or even more depending on experience) + benefits!
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 & Friday - 08:00 to 12:00
We have a Brand-new electronics engineer opportunity with a well-established and cutting edge technology development company based in Wellingborough. The company is a light engineering company designing and manufacturing electro-mechanical systems, for air conditioning, fans, fluid heating-colling, specialist air filtration systems and climate control systems! They have worked within the Automotive industry since 1911 and have continued to grow ever since!
The opportunity would suit an experienced Electronics Engineer with skills in both Electronics and Electrical engineering, as you would be the Electronics authority on site for the entire business! There would be plenty of varied work and the opportunity to grow within the business!
The working hours
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Good general electronics knowledge including embedded electronics.
Programming in C for micro-controllers.
Experience with a PCB design package.
Building prototype PCBA's and general soldering.
Electrical harness design.
Appreciation of design for EMC.
Making of prototype wiring harnesses.
Previous experience or knowledge of 3D CAD skills, Up to 1000 VDC, LIN bus, CAN, RS485
Knowledge of working with HVAC systems would be an advantage
Good knowledge of electronic component and connector selection, and sourcing
Designing office procedures
