We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Electrician or Engineer to work for one of the country's leading training providers as a technician.
This position will be based in our client's Centre in York as a Technician, responsible for overseeing the security and maintenance of plant, tools, materials & equipment in our clients allocated department. You will have the chance to help them deliver the best possible training as part of a professional and highly enthusiastic team. The role will be located locally but will require national travel and overnight stays where needed at the request of their line manager to support the growing demands on the organisation.
Candidates must have the following skills, experience, and qualifications to be considered:
* Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Electrical or equivalent (essential)
* At least 3 years industrial electrical experience (essential)
* Able to work as a part of the team, and be able to work using own initiative
* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must have a positive attitude towards work
* Full UK driving licence
* Able to spend nights away from home as business needs dictate
* Able to work extra hours when required
* Maintenance skills
* First Aid at Work
