TrustCare is the name of Trafford Housing Trust’s independent living services. Here, we believe everyone has the right to a good and meaningful life, irrespective of age, health or disability. We are passionate about the work we do and the people we help, believing that everyone deserves to get the most out of life. We put people at the heart of everything we do, treating everyone fairly with compassion and respect, and that includes the people who work for us.

We’re now looking for a Care Scheduling Lead to support the Care team in the delivery of a person-centred service to customers; being responsible for overseeing and scheduling the workload of Carers by allocating and organising work through relevant processes.

Developing excellent relationships with both Customers and Carers so both can enjoy positive experiences, you will ensure schedules are prepared, considering travel time, holidays, training and last minute cancellations, and be responsive to changes in the schedule, liaising with the relevant team members as required. The Care Scheduling Lead will also work with the Organisational Development Team to ensure sufficient current and future staffing levels are met, and ensure compliance and quality assurance in line with procedures and CQC regulations.

This role demands someone who has excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure. It needs someone logical and analytical, with the ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines. Able to maintain a professional approach, you will be a strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills and have excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.

Experience of working in a scheduling role is a must, as is an awareness of the requirements of CQC in relation to care at home. Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence and access to a car is essential.

What you might be asking yourself is, what can we do for you? Well, we can offer you an extensive range of excellent benefits such as;

  • 39 days paid annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
  • Taxfree Childcare
  • DBS check
  • Full paid gym, swim and class membership (all Trafford leisure facilities)

And once you’ve successfully completed your 6 month probationary period;

  • Private health cover
  • Enhanced company sick pay
