Wycliffe surgery a friendly, teaching, growing GP practice in Plymouth is seeking for an Admin/Finance clerk to work together with the Finance Manager. It will be a permanent part-time position of 20 hours per week. Rate of pay depending on experience.
Bookkeeping qualification is essential and knowledge of Xero accounts software is an advantage but training will be given. The successful candidate will be good on computers and know Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic secretarial skills and good organisational abilities will be required to fulfil the position.
The main tasks will be as follow supported by the Finance Manager and all training will be given where necessary:
- Xero accounting, posting of invoices, income, reconciliation,
- On line banking,
- Copy of medical records,
- Deal with medical reports queries,
- Services submissions on various portals and local council, follow up of the payments,
- Submit the payroll to the portal.
