Interaction Recruitment are looking for a boad layer / process operator based in Shirley, Solihull.
You will be responsible for making display boards for in a variety of sizes, in accordance with the production plan. These boards will be used for presentations to new business internationally and it is vital that they are assembled and finished to a very high standard.
Duties:
Prepare boards for manufacture, using templates for different layouts, cutting products on guillotines, using appropriate jigs and hand held tools where necessary.
Trim, clean, label (and pack when necessary) display boards prior to storage
Assist with the production of other marketing tools such as sample kits, product folders, display graphics
Carry out other duties as required and requested by line manager in line with the job purpose.
Working Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Hours may flex slightly, i.e. 6.00 am to 2.00 pm or 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, so some flexibility is required.
Pay rate is GBP11.53 p/h (GBP22,500 per annum)
This role is ideal for someone who has proven experience in DIY, possibly a semi-skilled joiner or similar experience in a production environment. Previous experience working within a workshop environment and working with wood materials is desirable.
