Channel Account Manager - Surveillance Technology.

Reporting to the Sales Director and working with teams across all areas of the company this is a highly influential position.

Breakthrough technology enables customers to capture and deliver visual surveillance information across the mobile networks, performing at a high Quality of Service usually reserved for surveillance over fixed line communications.

As the Channel Account Manager you will focus on developing and nurturing the primary channel partner.

In doing so you may work with multi-disciplined teams within the company and across multiple regions in order to come up with solutions that integrate the business with client products and services.

In addition, as the Channel Account Manager you will need the ability to understand the IT and security architectures, systems, information flows, applications and their links to customers to assist the sales team in the creation of business cases and value propositions.

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE:

The Channel Account Manager has the challenging task of identifying new business opportunities both via the channel and directly, to close via the channel in order to generate revenue. This position requires a person who has the ability to nurture and develop partner relationships at various levels; train the partner to prospect, target and identify opportunities, along with the sales experience to successfully negotiate and close deals.

CAPABILITIES/SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

* Excellent partner and customer relationship, management and influencing skills

* Demonstrates gravitas, confidence and energy

* Experience of channel sales success, channel partner development and direct sales experience would be beneficial

* Ability to develop relationships and engage at all levels within partners (Sales to C-suite)

* Disciplined to follow defined processes, yet creative to recommend/build new, scalable approaches

* Able to manage and balance multiple sales activities and prioritise to achieve deadlines with minimal supervision.

* Experience selling with/through Tier 1 Telco's or large IT/Networking companies.

* Prior start-up environment experience, familiarity with the CCTV security market, and success in launching new technologies is a plus

You will need to be able to travel nationwide and therefore can be home based, although you will need to visit head office in Reading when required
